Spring is known not only for budding trees and blossoming flowers but also for soggy wet forecasts. We’ve been fortunate the last two years to have beautiful, summer like weather for the event. But, we are prepared for less than desirable weather conditions. So, what happens if it rains? We move the party inside- but just right across the street to Betances Community Center, 547 East 146 Street, Bx, NY. We will post any changes to our outdoor plans on the blog and on Face Book.

How about the pair of old sneakers in the back of your closet, the computer monitor you are using for doorstop and the now pink shirts that had a bad run-in with a red sock in the wash. All of these items can be recycled and cashed in for prizes at the Get Green event. So, start your spring cleaning and see what you can come up with! See our list below to get a few ideas.

This year Get Green South Bronx Earthfest will be working with Tools of War to produce the staging of their annual event. Expect a great selection of all ages music, a few dance battles and expert showmanship by MC GrandMaster Caz! More details to follow.
